Flexcrete Technologies Limited, the UK’s leading independent manufacturer of engineering quality technical mortars and high performance coatings, has launched a brand new website at www.flexcrete.com which has been developed using one of the very latest web design approaches to ensure the site is more user-friendly than ever before.
The new look website has been built by InForm Web Design using Responsive Web Design (RWD), an innovative form of web development which provides an optimal viewing experience across a range of devices – from desktop computers to tablet devices and mobile phones.
Full of new features and refreshed copy, the website is designed to assist engineers, contractors and architects in the specification of Flexcrete products, including concrete repair materials and high performance coatings for waterproofing, anti-corrosion, anti-carbonation or hygienic protection. Designed in a sleek, modern style, the new site allows browsers to access hundreds of Technical Data Sheets, Project Profile documents and solutions to typical problems found in market sectors such as the water industry or coastal engineering.
Flexcrete’s Marketing & IT Manager, Ian Fenton said:
In today’s digital age, it is important that our customers can find the information they need quickly and easily – whether they are using a traditional desktop computer, a laptop, an iPad or an iPhone. Our RWD site correctly sizes to fit the screen it is being viewed on, so it works seamlessly across thousands of different screens and only requires the minimum of resizing and scrolling.
We’ve launched the new site following several months of research and consultation with customers, distributors and partners to find out what they wanted most from the site and we’ll be updating it regularly with all the latest news and product information. So whether a customer wants to find a solution to a concrete repair problem for a project they are working on, or find their local distributor of Flexcrete products, our website should be the only place they need to go.
With origins dating back to 1983, Flexcrete Technologies Limited manufactures a wide range of concrete repair mortars, fairing coats, waterproof cementitious coatings and decorative protective coatings. With its head office and manufacturing complex based in Leyland, North West England, Flexcrete products are available from stockholding distributors all around the UK. The company also has a global presence through international agents and distributors in 65 countries worldwide with export sales accounting for over 50% of its business. Flexcrete was the first British manufacturer to achieve CE Mark registration in compliance with EN1504, the pan European standard for concrete repair.
